RECORRIENDO RECUERDOS
This body of work was inspired by my childhood in Florida and the natural elements unique to South Florida that are conjured by those memories.
PAJAROS Y REJAS
I became intrigued with the designs of the iron bars in houses and how Old World they felt.
A WALK IN MAY
I had some old cans of wood stain and wanted to create sepia toned paintings that allowed the wood grain to show.
CITY GRAYS & CHILDISH GAMES
In this body of work I was trying to capture the washed out colors of the cities. I was also thinking of the games within relationships.
EARTH TONES & MUSICAL NOTES
While working on these paintings, I had been studying the Northern Lights painters but was living in the Midwest where the earthy tones came through in the work.
